Needs some work
6/10 The owner was very upfront about the house being older and needing work. We did not realize just how much until we arrived. All of that aside we had a great time. The house is in a perfect location. The beach is spectacular.

Beach Bliss!
8/10 The property was very eclectic and interesting with the owners art and use of color. The location reigned supreme with direct beach access and beautiful sunrises and gorgeous beach days. The house was very well equipped and comfortable! Thanks for a great stay!

Great beach house to accommodate large family
10/10 Great roomy beach house!! Plenty of room and right on the beach. Great view from porch to watch sunrise and dolphins. Owner is great to work with very accommodating! Highly recommend!

8/10 The house was perfect for our needs. House was well supplied and appreciated the use of the beach chairs, linens, kitchen supplies, etc. The owner was particularly responsive to everything. Love the front porch and large deck. Wish the windows had screens, but not a deal breaker. Loved the ample parking in the driveway.

A Real Gem
10/10 All the members of our group have been staying in Pawleys Island for decades and this was the first time any of us have stayed Litchfield Beach. The owner was great in being able to accommodate us on short notice after a last minute change disrupted our beach plans. The property is great with superb beach access, king beds and a well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Paradise on Pawleys!
KeyHole is the PERFECT oceanfront beach house! During a forty plus years span of an annual week on Pawleys with a large group of close friends, I have stayed in many beach houses. Not one compares to KeyHole.
Seven years ago, I decided it was time to spend a week at the beach with my immediate family- my husband, two sons and their wives, and three grandchildren. We stayed in a house on Isle of Palms the first year and in an oceanfront condo on Pawleys the following two years. Neither place really suited us, and I happily found KeyHole for beach trip #4. We will never stay anywhere else!
When I describe KeyHole as "Paradise on Pawleys," that is actually an understatement. It is roomy, comfortable, bright, and beautiful! When my family and I first walked into the house, there was a collective "aahhhh." We had finally found our place on the beach!
There are two living areas plus a beautiful sunroom. All have comfortable furniture and more than ample sitting space. When we were not out on the beach, we spent most of our time in the sunroom. Or on the big, beautiful deck area that overlooks the beach.
There are six bedrooms, including a garage level bedroom with its own bathroom. All beds are extremely comfortable. The bathrooms have been updated and are modern and spacious.
The kitchen is beyond well-equipped. The owner left nothing out when he stocked the spacious kitchen!
The part of the beach upon which KeyHole sits is beautiful! And there is less than a mile to walk from it to Huntington Beach State Park. Don't miss the Atalaya Castle, which is located in the park! Brookgreen Gardens is also a short drive from KeyHole.
Did I mention parking? There is ample parking at KeyHole, so we were not limited to the typical cap on number of cars that can be parked there. Friends and other family were able to come for day visits without having to park in the street or elsewhere.
I highly recommend KeyHole for a beach vacation!
